Big Bang Theory is a lie. It tries to be a comedy for nerds, but it fails. It doesn’t understand nerd culture. References don’t make nerd culture what it is. It is the love for intricacy and detail that makes nerd culture.
That’s why Big Bang Theory is not a comedy for nerds, but for people who laugh at nerds.
You want a proper nerd comedy? Watch Robot Chicken.

+1, since my work colleagues usually mention my name with regards to that show :/

If all the characters were 4chan users on the other hand…

The last truly “Zelda” game I played was Wind Waker. None of the more recent ones really felt like it. Even with the complete bullshit of Tetra becoming the princess and then being locked away because suddenly she’s a weak princess who must be protected.

Fuck.

Anyways, I still put Wind Waker over Skyward Sword over Twilight Princess.

I love Wind Waker but I enjoyed Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess
Nah, obviously Tetra wasn’t weak the dress made her weak, I mean look at Zelda in OoT, as soon as she revealed herself to Link, Ganon automatically found her. The dresses Zelda wears have negative stat bonuses.

I think you’ll love Yukki Terumi and Relius Clover from BlazBlue. Both complete and utter assholes yet still likeable due to how good they are at being that way. That’s the best kind of villain to me, efficiency over sympathy.

Very few video games (mostly rpgs in this example) do magic well. It always comes across as an afterthought.

I want to do some hardcore sorcery in a game. Warp time and space, rain down shadow and light upon my enemies, and make people dance like puppets to the tune of mesmeric melodies.

I Know right it’s always just another weapon, And some times not even a creative one, And it never seems to be involved in the story no matter how awesome a Mage You are, You always no nothing about magic it seems,

…and this is one of the reasons I’m so hard on Bioshock Infinite: It doesn’t explain, integrate, or discuss the vigours in the game! As Campster said, it’s basically powers from magical space booze. At least Plasmids felt more a part of the setting in Bioshock, but in Infinite, they only talked about vigours once! Every other time, they’re basically a macguffin (Shock Jokey, for example).
