Only you can decide what’s best for your situation, but, having worked in both retail and a warehouse, I don’t recommend it. They’ll treat you like dirt.

Having had several warehouse jobs over the last decade, I can also attest to the fact that they’re generally shit jobs. The only advantage that warehouse jobs have over retail is that you don’t have to deal with Karens (assuming of course you don’t work with the general public.)

Where I worked, they expected employees to be impossibly efficient, like robots. They had it down to a science exactly how long each order should take to pick. It’s degrading, it’s inhumane, and I refuse to be treated that way. If they want the performance of robots, they can use fucking robots. I’m sure one is being developed now for that purpose.

Oh, it was. The Teamsters union. It did not give me a positive impression of their organization.

I left that shithole after less than a month. They weren’t surprised when I quit because they have high turnover. Apparently they only wanted miserable roughneck bastards like themselves, so that’s what they got.

The place I work is warehouse too, shipping even - but despite being run by clowns it’s actually pretty nice. Quite literally my one complaint is “i need to listen to music or i will go fucking apeshit”, it’s so lonely there. It’s like, $16, $17.30 an hour. Could be worse.

Things are starting to heat up again, temperature has been in the 80’s and I’m sweating my ass off outside, and it isn’t even summer

Had to take an Uber to get to work and was 30 minutes late cause the bus was on the other side of the county. God this county’s bus system sucks ass

My managers let it slide cause they know that I use the bus to go to work and that traffic can be terrible. Plus, I’m usually a good employee who does my job well in my department so I’m valuable to them to really get in trouble.

Watching arrest videos of idiots who think they’re invincible and can shrug off bullets or batons to the face.

I’ve noticed a trend where crooks try to stab or shoot K9 Unit Dogs who have already pinned them down, while at the same time several officers have their guns out pointed at said crook.

I was supposed to be working but then I saw a tweet asking about unique Power Rangers episodes and got distracted for…2 hours.

I made a burn comeback to a rude comment on Facebook where they said “boring” to a really satisfying video.

I replied: “You must had a really abusive childhood.”

I hope they get offended and report me to evenly more represent how much L they are.

Haha they did it so they removed my comment. But I replied again with that same comment because they suck.
