I can’t really take someone’s word whose been known to not take criticism well and throw in the show and say “Just a joke.” much like:

I’m sure I can take this very humble animator on a cartoon known to riff on people that dislike it for being overly stupid and flooded the airwaves at his word.

There’s no big conspiracy or hatred against the old show. It was just a dumb background gag (inserted by a bg artist) that the animation community took way too seriously (It was a bit in poor taste, but I seriously doubt they wanted to make mock a dead voice actor like some super villain). Also, the fact that he took the time to address the issue immediately in a civil manner, says he’s not a total jerk. He could’ve been a troll about it, but he was honest and tried to set things straight.

They cost more to make, especially with styles like young justice or Thunder Cats 2011 have, so they need to sell toys to be really profitable,

a streaming service has a stronger income than a network channel, and so having desirable shows can offset the cost easier, also demographics are less hassle when no ads,

There’s hatred. The fact Roar was mostly dumbed down comedy, terrible animation, getting the OG VA of Lion-O to say anyone that didn’t like it is “poop mouth with poop opinions” And then he tries to cry victim with zero proof of being attack.
 
Hearing the show was canned, they probably wanted to drum up controversy to get people talking, since if the ending was just that on paper, it would have just been another cringe episode to forget, but then we have Panthro’s corpse just in the corner that wouldn’t have been noticed in the first viewing, for what reason did it even need to be there?
 
What needs to be answered is who added Panthro’s remains there, then we can ask why. Until then, it’s tasteless and doesn’t really show the creators of Roar in any light they weren’t already in.

Streaming services tend to pull the plug on things randomly too unfortunately. Netflix already canned a few new shows, and apparently cancelled MST3k just because it didn’t get enough Rotten Tomatoes reviews…

(An AU where Miko is a Glitch with conspiracies trailing behind her.

It’s fine. I’ve got a major issue with shows that don’t know how to end, and things were kinda hitting a climax.

“I ate a bowl of nails for breakfast this morning…without any milk”.
 
Big deal, Mr. Ratburn can do that.

In fairness, alot of shows can’t decide when they end. So making an ending only to renew the show, and have to write around the ending to continue, or undo it, and such can cause problems too.
 
That’s why some shows like, Sonic the Hedgehog SatA.M., and Darkwing Duck had to end on cliffhangers.

To be fair, the original Darkwing Duck was never really all that serialized, so its finale was more or less just a standard episode.

Troo, though it had a li’l bit of subtle continuity, and surprisingly, a few killed off villains.
 
Sonic SatA.M. meanwhile only had continuity in the second season, as very few cartoons back then were continuity focused.  
TMNT, the original, only had continuity in the first, and second seasons, and on some later episodes.
