I can’t copy/paste from YouTube but basically my points that Grogu leaving Luke’s teaching and go back with Mando are 1) they’re not gonna let him die when Ben Solo goes on a rampage yes he could just survive it but that’s just seems kinda silly to think he survives two Jedi massacres especially since we see Order 66 this episode it just makes more sense that he just wasn’t there and 2) there is that very obvious Grogu sized pod in place of the droid socket on Mando’s N-1.

you can’t tho fix luke tho he HAS TO BE not luke by the sequele. there is no fix. no diverging.

Rewatched Mando last ep the scene with Luke’s entrance to get a fresh perspective after a year.

Mofo went HAM. That’s just VIOLENCE right there. That ain’t the kinda swinging that gives ppl hope. That there was a nasty ass horror shit, like when Vader cut thru ppl in a hallway. I like it. Does Luke always swing like this? So when he’s chill at home he’s that shy boy who speaks with wisdom beyond his years but when we goes out bodying fools he goes full crush-skull-sever-spine? Damn.

I thought after seeing Force Awakens, they’d just do however many and keep it going without ending. Then Last Jedi kinda wrapped most things up. Rise finished, kinda lame, but it was an ending. Did Last Jedi kill their chance to do more, or did Disney think marketing Rise as the final installment in the trilogy trilogy was the best choice?

I heard that it was likely that TLJ was meant to be the end, but was changed in the last hour so they could continue the series or something.

Well they were doing the “A Star Wars Story” movies to get a movie a year like the MCU.
TLJ for all it’s talk about trying to move Star Wars forward kinda reverted a lot of stuff to make that happen.

Doesn’t exactly make much sense to announce a Trilogy which to be clear means three with the middle film.
More likely its writer/director wanted it to be an end but either realized it was supposed to continue or someone along the way pointed that out to him I cannot tell which for certain.

It doesnt matter what the quality of the movies in the trillogy was, the main thing is that the movies were always intended to be a trillogy from the very start of the Disnsy buyout

The quality of the movies may have varied and ideas may have changed , but imit was always gonna be 3 movies
