I think it’s all industries that are doing that. And I think it’s a fear tactic, either a public “shaming” or to try to make employees work harder in fear they will be next.

Let me tell you, there are a lot of times I want to snap back and make a sarcastic answer to customers at my job whenever they ask something where the answer is obvious, but I always hold my tongue cause I’m afraid they’ll complain to my boss for poor customer service and hospitality, which would definitely be true.
