Circling back for the moment toward the great, coordinated rollback of LGBTQ rights across the US at the state level (using draft bills supplied by hate groups such as Alliance Defending Freedom), I found this meme that might be helpful for those listening who might only have a surface-level understanding of trans issues in particular. It’s way more than the headlines about which bathroom to use, which pronouns to use, or whether trans girls should be able to play sports on the girls’ teams.

How does it affect humanity in general - less offspring and less manpower?

At least this will stop warmongers from producing more cannon fodder.

This is why I am nowadays more supportive of trans rights - I just want things to be more convenient. The cons who are against this are just a useless venting machine.

The main thing that matters to me is the violence. I don’t believe trans people are the gender they claim, but I do believe they shouldn’t be harmed for their belief. Anything beyond that subject is either minor or a seperate issue (homelessness).

Hmm… Should I stop you out of your bs, or should I do a more serious approach. First off all, the Russians are of the same “breed” (I’m serious, how talks like that these days!?) like the Ukrainians. Go and watch some history about the Ukraine.

Second: NEVER judge a nation and especially their people for the stupidity of their leaders. We Germans literally exist because the world tried to forgive us. Not the persons who were responsible for all this… I literally have no word how much sorry each and every modern German is about our past. And still we know that we have a so many around us, who actually will NEVER learn. But glad to be, these are a stupid minority. I will take a quote from the YT video about Germany.

Homelessness of trans people is not a separate issue, nor is it minor. Trans people are disproportionately more likely to become homeless. This is due to employers refusing to hire them, landlords refusing to rent them apartments, and trans teens disowned and thrown out of their homes by unsupportive parents, among other things.

Seeing as medical expenses are a major cause of bankruptcy and homelessness in the US, and trans people will absolutely have multitudes higher medical expenses than cisgender people, that’s also a huge factor.

When I say seperate issue what I mean is I don’t split an issue up into many seperate issues unless it is needed. So in this case the issue is homelessness itself and the high price of housing. This is a big issue that is important and needs to be addressed. The issue is just much bigger then only trans.

While it’s a big issue for everyone in the US, we can’t ignore the fact that it disproportionately affects trans people for the reasons listed above. All the issues in that pie chart play off of one another to form a particularly harmful brew.

Maybe it wasn’t your intent, but it comes off as dismissive to downplay the role homelessness has in the transgender experience, or anything else in that pie chart. Of course, “disagreeing” with the existence of transgender people, or declaring their gender identity invalid doesn’t exactly lend itself to a better understanding of the demographic.
