Video Game General 2: Definitive/Remastered Edition

I really don’t like the neuromod achievements for Prey. Play one playthrough with only human mods, one with only typhon, and one with no mods.
 
For starters that’s 3 playthroughs minimum, and very restrictive playthroughs at that. Then there’s the point that human mods are boring but very useful passive abilities, while typhon are cool but not that useful.

So I completed the Hostile Takeover assignment by telling her that the gang has too much blood to continue, and landed on the X57 asteroid. I think I’ll take a light break, since I’ve completed just about everything with only 1 post-specter mission done, other than the DLCs.

I’m not surprised to be honest. Even though the franchise creator DID give the project his blessing, it’s understandable why they’d retool it into an original IP just to be on the safe side.
 
At least it should be a better homage than all the other poor attempts to imitate the games that fail to understand what made them work. (cough YIIK cough)

I think I figured out what the problem with WWE 2K20 is: It’s an anti-leak mechanism designed to prevent the game from being played early. At least going by how Steam is counting my play time across the new year…

I hope Half Life Alyx gets a non-VR release.

Also, I like how the credits from Half Life 1 its just the character vision blacked out and teleported into a very tiny place. You can still hear your jump noices and the hud is still active.

And the X57 Asteroid DLC is cleared (I let the terrorist go to save the hostages). I left off inside the Pinnacle Station for tomorrow.

Dumb memes, attempting to be quirky but just being obnoxious, the protagonist is a douchebag (voiced by real-life douchebag Chris Niosi), the CREATOR is a douchebag, and they used an infamous real-life murder from the 1990’s as the basis for a major plot point in an INCREDIBLY tasteless manner.

Best part is that it’s more or less true. Mass Effect is fairly grounded in physics and number, but does use “mass effect fields” as the go to explanation for anything that doesn’t add up.

I just started playing doom and running out of demon is indeed my major gripe
