The the new rules seem fine on paper if enforced fairly, but that’s the big if. So far I’ve seen zero assurances on how fairly staff will apply these rules.
People from both sides have absolutely zero trust in the team’s competence through what we’ve seen of them handling this shitshow. If that’s a glimpse of what’s to come, I’ll hold off on celebrating for a little while longer.
The anti-Censorship sentiment largely prevailed in the end, I feel. Even with a few concessions to the pro-censorship side of things. We stopped them from going full totalitarian and wiping massive swaths of images from the site.
It’s all just a matter of what the staff does now.

Polls can still be voted on after ending, turns out, and 1 staff member swung things on a few images well after results were out. Thankfully, the actual poll results aren’t being used to decide on specific images.
On another note, we’ve deleted the AJ plantation with various dead bodies and labels (“fag”, “Jew”, etc.) image, the filly anon saying “Ziggers bad” image, and the Chrysalis with severed blue-blooded pig head image for Rule 0.

They have changed nothing from the biased answers from yesterday. This isn’t anti-censorship prevailing, this is the same vaguely worded rules written in an even more inflammatory way. Did you just miss the part where they called the art unacceptable and declared the site had become rotten or are you just tired of dealing with it?

I am cautiously optimistic about all of this. Rules are fine but it will come down to how are they enforced and if they are enforced fairly. There is a lot of trust issues right now between users and staff but i hope that staff members will menage to do their job without a bias and will prove skeptics wrong.

Do you mind providing several specific examples of evidence of this? It would really strengthen your argument and make it seek like you’re not overexaggerating.
We have seen in the comments of racist images people actively push racist views on each other against our rules, but gone unnoticed because the vast majority filter out such and it flew under the radar of the staff team due to not being reported; we do not want that sort of thing to sit and fester.

All it’s telling me is that the feedback thread was just a giant circus and everyone that participated were the clowns, hope you enjoyed the free entertainment.

No reason to believe your trust still exists. You’ve effectively destroyed it already. You’ve ignored all the warnings from people who actually understand SJW cancel culture and dove in anyway. You’ve chosen your own path that can only end in destruction. Enjoy the trip. Think of it as a learning experience. When your fellow SJWs devour you, you’ll finally understand there is no loyalty among people who are professional victims, and there is no end to the demands. You’ll also learn you can’t possibly apply logical consistency to your decisions because they’re not based on anything logical. This will lead to its own problems.

You’re doing the opposite.

Lastly I just want to post the poll results. Not because I expect them to matter at this point, but because I don’t want you to pretend your decision reflects the will of the majority of users.

The fact Derpibooru never made this issue public shows how little trust they have in their own user base. Or maybe more accurately, the fact they didn’t make this public (as in a site wide announcement to potential changes these last couple weeks) shows they don’t trust their user base to have the same opinions the top admins do.
The fact you can make Derpibooru change policy by getting Twitter to bully them is proof that it can happen again. The fact that people still trust the mods is heart breaking. Not because giving people another chance is wrong, but the fact that so many people are willing to give Derpibooru chance after chance, and the mods largely ignored their feedback, is just sad.
