As long as they are tagged, it's your own choice as to whether you spoiler them or hide them entirely. Nothing personal here, but let's assume a bunch of people spoilered the
tag for <insert reason here>, and all those people would blindly downvote every single pic spoilered with that from the thumbnail; maybe the same people would not only downvote, but also leave negative comments
once in a while
all the time as well.
Would you rather have the above, or would you rather have that those people would just stop complaining and downvoting those pics, ignoring them completely (ie, hiding
See where I'm going with this? If someone uploads "100% value-free garbage", but they tag it as such, why bother? Like, seriously, I don't care if people downvote the garbage because it wasn't tagged; it becomes another matter if people have actually taken the time to see what tag is what, and then want to downvote it nevertheless.
Also, if you're still reading this, now replace "100% value-free garbage" with "artist:texasuberalles" in the above paragraph. And whether you agree or not, we've had enough of those easy drive-by flutterdash downvotes. If you reached the point where you downvote something purely
based on the spoiler image, you really have to take a moment and ask yourself if you wouldn't be better off just hiding the tag completely.
TL;DR what part of "hiding a tag because it's 99.99% garbage" is so difficult to understand.
EDIT: now stop bitching about this because you could have said your thing before
it got implemented in another thread that was up weeks
before it actually happened.
