How long does a removal typically take?

I had a private work uploaded against my will, I filed a report as best I could tell not having used the site before, and the image is still up.
 
While the upvotes and favourites bring some happiness to this distressing situation, it was still put up against my will.
 
I am wondering how long does a removal usually take?

I had shared this with a small group of friends in a chat group and one of them violated my trust by doing this.

Usually less than one day.

Oh…great.

I don’t know why it’s still up, the day is almost over, and I reported it in the morning.
 
I am deeply distressed. Please, anyone who reads this, report #830368 and have it removed for me.
 
It was personal and private something I never wanted to be posted on here.
 
I was wronged, and hopefully the administration of this site will realise when an artist is in distress.
 
This wasn’t just any picture, this was a representation of me, it is my avatar my symbol to the world as an artist.
 
It was also the first real piece done with all the talent, effort and emotional investment I could muster. It hurts that my trust was violated.

If you want to avoid this on the future, try to get included on the do-not-post list .In order to do so,
 
“Report one of the images you’ve drawn that are on this site (or report yourself if there are none) and tell us which images to remove (e.g. “all under my artist tag”), what conditions there are for the DNP (e.g. “with permission only”), and how we may verify your identity (e.g. my DA is blablabla.deviantart.com) if we haven’t already.”

It’s gone now. We have lots of things on our heads, so sometimes we can’t process every report within 24 hours. Sorry for keeping you waiting.

Remember that the mods are human beings, and they get tons of junk reports by the hour.
 
Besides, they already do much more than the crap excuses for moderators they have at tumblr, FA, DA.

This was actually the first time something like this has happened, apologies if I came off as impatient.

To quote our own stats page, it takes on average about 6 hours to resolve a report. Reports that require third party validation (ie, sending you a message on dA/Tumblr and waiting for a response) can often take much longer, eg 1-2 days, depending on when a mod contacts you and when you reply. Most takedowns fall into this category, though obviously the user link system speeds this up (eg if we know you’re a particular artist on dA already, we don’t have to check). The mod team isn’t huge and is, like all things on the site, on a best-effort volunteer basis, so it’s variable. If it takes more than a day we’re probably waiting for a reply from you or just simply overloaded with reports.

Okay, that’s good to know.

The distress was perfectly understandable, but it seems to have caused you to make this more public than it needed to be (see 3rdAnon’s advice).
 
(Heck, I work for a customer support service desk, and we have a 48 hour SLA clock.)
 
The mods rarely let us down, have some faith. :)

I didn’t know that commissioner can add himself to DNP list. How would we know that given picture was commissioned by X anyway?

Yes it is different, digi is someone I would consider a friend. They offered to help me during this distressing situation.
 
They even went so far as almost making their own report on my behalf.
