I see a lot of people give the animation a pass when honestly, I don’t know why. I think the animation looks incredibly stiff, like something from a 2000’s Newgrounds flash animation. Besides that, the voice acting is alright, the characters look like they retain their old personalities from the movie and the joke at the beginning with the crab did make me smile. It was an alright showcase and I could watch it when it premieres.

Even when the staff themselves said they wouldn’t throw away the world build in G4, some people still believe this is another dimension, another reality, that they will just forget G4’s Equestria forever. They like to deny it. They want it to be a complete reboot so bad they forget what was already stated. Is it because they are afraid that it will be like the new Star Wars? I don’t think I will ever understand why.

G5 should have been a true reboot like the other generations. It would have left open so many new things to encounter. But instead, it seems to be relying on G4 to keep it stable. G4 is over. We want to see new things than old stuff being brought back

It’s the least they can do after having so little time to explain in the movie.
I’m not saying that they have to explain everything or that it’s their fault that they didn’t explain it in the movie. But by the looks of it, they will try to in the comics. These people need to accept that the future of Equestria isn’t a happily ever after. But if they still can’t move on from Starlight Glimmer or the petrification of the Legion of Doom, who can say they will accept it?

Just rewatched the video and realized that we may have a new character voiced by Bahia Watson (LeShawna in Total DramaRama and Orange Blossom in the current Strawberry Shortcake animated stuff) and named Misty. A sixth main character or just a guest star?

While i have seen the new footage, i still seem to can’t get into the animation. It’s still not clicking with me as well as i hoped. But honestly, i’m still looking forward to this series despite that.

Explorer in Training
With that lighthouse sometimes I wonder why do toys always have to be bright and colorful?
Isn’t there something beautiful in having something more quaint looking? Like small town chic feel? I’m just saying not every girl wants bright colorful stuff.
It’s not a big deal of course but just like in G4 when they replaced the Golden Oaks Tree with athe Crystal Treehouse (I like the crystal tree I’m just making a point.)
