I don’t know, there may be some things that are still left unanswered, and so many of them that s9 alone won’t answer all of then.

They could do a body swap episode in Season 9 with the Mane 6
 
That way the Mane 6 would still be the main focus of the episode and have an interesting storyline that’s never been done yet

Also I think that it’s due to point: if the joke in the We’re Friendship Bound song is an indication, the fact that the S9 is supposed to be the final one was something decided since a long time. The S9 is being made with FULL AWARENESS of it being the last one, and as such, I HIGHLY DOUBT writers are gonna waste its episodes by making boring and pointless fillers. Also Say whatever you want about Haber and Dubuc (and little parenthesis: they did their mistakes, but I don’t think they are BAD. At all), but even them should understand that.

That’s something I’m concerned with as well, as certain characters or things could very well end up shafted as a result of there being only one season left.

Honestly, aside the Lighting Dust thing (which I think it will be effectively covered in S9 by the way), I don’t think those things would be that necessary. As much interesting would be, I wouldn’t die if Zebras’ land and Scorpan wouldn’t be covered (also: 1)DT’s arc is good as finished; 2)Babs Seed? Seriously? That’s the best character you could think about? She was the worst part of S3 to me, I’m glad they never brought her back ever since and I REALLY HOPE to not see her back in the final season. THAT would be a BIG waste of time).

Again: the S9 is being written with FULL AWARENESS of it being the last one, and as such I’m sure writers won’t waste its 26 eps on boring filler stories. I don’t know how much of the things that need focus will be covered, but I think writers will cover the most important ones, like Lightning Dust and Chrysalis (the latter was implied to return in the season by Vogel himself in a Tweet).

Bad news guys: the S9 won’t start in March. DF Highlights forma March have been released and… FiM is nowhere to be seen (on the bright side the new EG special is airing, and the month will be dedicated to Twilight Sparkle… The month I’ve been born, dedicated to my favorite pony… Fate can be so ironic, at times hey?)… So, yeah, it seems like the hiatus will last a little longer…

If I have to be honest thought, I actually…. WANT the show to end. As I mentioned before I don’t like the focus on secondary characters, if it goes in sfavor to the Mane 6. The Starlight eps of S6 and Non-Compete Clause are the finest examples of that. To be fair, after TWABA and the weeks of depression I passed because of it and the fandom’s behavior after it, I REALLY wanted to quit after the Movie, exactly because it was focused on them. I kept going only because the leaks happened and mentioned the S9 being the final one. I don’t want the show keep going for other three seasons, if it would mean more and more eps like that. I’m very attached to the Mane 6 and I don’t want them doing the same end of several characters I loved for years. If the show ends now, and if as final season the S9 will put much focus on the Mane 6 as I think (and hope) my good memories of them will be preserved for the years to come just like all the other shows and games from my past. I just don’t care what others’ position on the matter is… I just want MLP and the Mane 6 ending on an high note… And don’t even try to confuse me with your usual “you’re seeing things that don’t exist” discussion. I know what I’ve seen. The fandom turned their back on the Mane 6 over that off-screen kidnapping, and there is nothing you can do to convince me otherwise…

I’d love to see another episode involving prison or jail, similar to the one in Appleoosa’s Most Wanted

I would like to see an episode of Trixie and Discord

Another time travel episode might be good… One kind of like the comic IDW 2020, where the Mane 6 go back in time to their fillyhoods. Or to the beginning of Equestria or something

Well EXCUSE ME A LOT if I’ve been following this series before about the 80% of you guys and I’ve been followed the Mane 6’s stories passionately ever since, and it was an ice arrow in the heart seeing the characters I loved for so many years being ditched by the fandom over an off-screen kidnapping. And I already told you in the other topic: I don’t care anymore about the fandom’s crap, I just want to see the show and the Mane 6 ending on an high note so that I can leave all this crap behind once for all and preserving my love for them for the years to come. I ask you to stop bothering me constantly Myoozik, my patience with you is wearing thin…

Wait, you’re that guy from the Season 8 thread that I made my long post to? I had a sneaking suspicion. Also, stop bothering you? I just started talking with you, it’s not like I’m purposefully antagonizing you or anything, I just think you’re a bit insane in the membrane with all that nonsense. Well if I knew that I would have ended up in a fandom who would have ditched the main characters of the show they claim to love over an off-screen kidnapping, I would have never joined the fandom in the first place. And for the record, I don’t owe you bronies ANYTHING, because I found out MLP by my own NOT thanks to the fandom….
 
You know what? I think I’ll change the term “brony” on my vocabulary. “A fan of MLP?” NOPE! “A Fan of MLP who hates its main characters”. As such I don’t consider myself a brony anymore.
