Actually, having given the issue far more thought that I would care to admit, I’d be fine with that. The people who want them to have more and/or ship them will do that with or without the movie confirming it, so keeping them friends really only means not alienating the people who prefer that dynamic. And honestly, as long as they are together and doing awesome things, I’d be happy with that.
 
I will say, though, that if they did decide to make them something more than friends, I think it would open up numerous additional possibilities for social commentary which could be interesting to see. But that’s just my personal opinion.
