Instead of making free healthcare, can someone tell me why healthcare is mandatory to begin with? Like, I lived the first 18 years of my life without health insurance and I’m pretty much fine.
Then again, I have affordable healthcare here so I’m not sure how it is with you guys.
 
I think it’s because many have go into their heads that it’s a right and not have to pay for something, especially when a politician whispers sweet nothings into their ear for years.
 
Of course, they may not have, but they’d also be Paying for someone else’s too.
 
I’m skimming through this article about how the patient/doctor relationship was screwed by Obamacare  
Probably because how it made it a one size fits all and the hassel all the extra work on doctors it caused.
 
Let’s also not forget that when Obamacare was implemented many lost their insurance  
thanks to his wanted to implement it.
 
 
As also Obamacare hurt many small businesses
 
Not sure how accurate these numbers are, but the “Thanks Obama” meme didn’t spring out of nowhere.
 
Obama was a lot more like Bush then most want to realize.

What macro picture? It’s still an extremely small percentage of the population of the entire planet. I’m not saying we shouldn’t pander to them, but people suffering from the worst of disease are an exception, not a rule. We shouldn’t base the entire healthcare system on them.
 
Unless you want to say that a high percentage of Americans suffer from extreme diseases, which I will reply with “That’s fucking bullshit.”.

Which is why I want healthcare to be affordable to at the very least a large majority. We should make healthcare based on the average American. That way, the umbrella can cover most of the people in the most effective way.
 
You can’t please everyone. And trying to do so will just lead you to please no one.

That seems to be more about if someone was shot and taken to the Hospital. Not just Joe Schmoe filling a little achy goes to see the doc.
 
I was talking more about people who get the sniffles and go to the ER, because they found out they wouldn’t have to pay a cent for it due to arbitrary fine print.
 
I would also say constriction workers, but I guess that’s more workers’ comp.

It’s emblematic of how far off the rails today’s right has gone. Even Reagan was a dirty liberal by comparison.
 
I find that hilariously ironic, seeing a lot of what Trump campaigned on would have been seen as middle of the road liberal just a few years ago, but now he’s a far-right extremist for no real reason other then…. reasons. Like he’s some boogeyman for whatever reason.

And should we go through how many of those things ended up being, in true Trump fashion, stuff he said just to get people to like him but that he had no intention of following through on? Or how the promises he did try and keep were mostly solid right wing stuff?

No, there are real reasons. His actions, his policies, his authoritarian tendencies, his “vision” for the US, the way he’s handling world politics, the fact that one of his top advisers was Steve Bannon who is unequivocally an extreme right wing nutjob… all of that is awfully indicative of something.

This is honestly my biggest gripe about American society. You guys spend so much to protect yourself from outside forces, that you neglect the inside ones. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next major disaster in the Western world is a Black Plague in the middle of South Dakota.

I found him on the waterboarding, and that’s really it.
 
I can’t say for sure if he’s actually talking about killing civilians, or just targeting suspected terrorists families and interrogating.
 
So really I can only verify is stance on waterboarding.
 
But go ahead and say what you want that I don’t fully trust a faceless man named Carl after all the unverified “anonymous sources” that have been in just about every article about Trump. I haven’t seen one vid with his “Kill the families” line. So I’m very impartial to many of the other articles I’ve seen.  
Which is with a grain of salt.
 
Want my opinion, how’s injecting them some Truth Serum? Doesn’t hurt much, and they might give information right? I doubt asking nicely will make them divulge their plans.
 
Also side note; I love that site quotes John McCain of all people. One of the War mongers that caused most of the problems with the middle-east.

Everyone seems to complain about Trump “Authortianism” but then on the other hand says to disarm the populous leaving the safety in the hands of “right-wing, racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe” cops and apparently “Authoritarian” government.
 
Wouldn’t you want citizens back for when his Death squad starts marching?
 
He’s a drooling idiot one moment, then the next he’s a evil dictator with a nefarious scheme. It’s so laughable.
