XD Eh, thats true, you probably have a different thought on it now. I just saw this episode a few weeks ago.
That comment was made five months ago. Assuming the episode had even aired then, I certainly hadn’t watched it to see their justification for their concern.
Where did it show they were ashamed?

The thing I wanna see is her magical and flight surges. If the hard time Pinkie had with the Cake twins is anything to go by then Shining Armor and Cadance are in for a truckload of trouble.
