Understandable. A name I still keep around on Xbox (but only because it costs fucking money to change your name) is “TheHunter437”, because I came up with it when I first started playing BioShock 2 Multiplayer. That was six years ago.

Honestly, I think that Spike is just shippable with virtually anyone he interacts with (and otherwise). His character has spent most of it’s life trailing Twilight around and, as a result, learning much the same things that she has. I think this gives his character a unique dynamic in that as he is more immature he is easy to approach, but he does (most of the time) know what is right, and always has good intentions.
 
Spike has an ego that he occasionally shows. But I think that it’s not really him. In time, I believe his character will become decidedly humble.

The fact of the matter is that this is not a real life situation. These are not human characters. All of the interactions that these characters have is purely imaginatory.
 
And sometimes, as obvious as it may yet seem, I think we need to take a step back and remind ourselves that there is a difference between fantasy and reality.

Well, we don’t really know how old Starlight is. For all we know, she could be younger than Twilight and close to Spike’s age unless something they said in the Season 6 premiere verifies she’s older.
 
You might say ‘oh but she started her own town she’s gotta be pretty old’ but I mean, they’re ponies. Give them something shiny or dazzling or a well-composed speech and they’ll fall behind you in droves.
