I think that’s correct, yes. I was just pointing out that there was at least some reason for certain species.
Well, there are actual male centaurs in that setting. There aren’t any male lamia if I recall correctly.
Extra incentive? Some form of justification? I’unno, man. That’s actually a bit of a plot-point with the centaurs in that setting. The men have been bred favoring strength and bravado so much that they’ve become unattractive to the women, who in turn have taken a liking to human men for being kinder and prettier.
