Apparently, in this continuity, the entirety of Ponyville’s population sans Twilight consist of sociopaths who will gladly condemn somepony to death for the crime of being unlikeable.
 
Yes, I’m aware that stories treating Trixie as an exceptional pariah were and are a dime a dozen (and it’s an easy way to make Twilight/Fluttershy/whoever look wonderful by looking past it and taking pity on her), but the behavior says less “Wow, Trixie must be really bad for them to act like that” and more “Wow, these ponies are horrible people”. It’s not making them look very good, is what I’m saying.
