I’m sorry but despite Sliver Quill being a fan of Applejack I’ve taken his thoughts on her less seriously ever since he stated Applejack should just be a support character.

Sliver Quill makes many good points in his reviews but his over focus and borderline nitpicking of AJ’s practically judging and desire to see her get “punished” while not having a remark on the other judges overpraising at every junction–despite this not fitting their past characterization–is oddly one sided.

Stranger still, Sliver Quill doesn’t mind the judges not delivering a critical remark but gets upset at Applejack not making losers at the end, even as he said she had been too hard on the contestants. Couldn’t the fault also be placed on the other judges being too indecisive? Are the three contestants getting promoted at Rarity’s store really that bizarre and unexpected ending with a TV-Y(?)rating show? Could Applejack have judged beyond practicality?

I don’t know, I just though Sliver was more emotional than objection driven for this.
