Midnight Sparkle fits Cinder so well, though. They both obtained their power through stealing magic from others, and they both have that burning effect around their eyes when they attack.
AJ would be Yang
Pinkie would be Nora
Fluttershy would be Blake, maybe, or Velvet
Considering Twilight Sparkle is Ruby Rose, that would be awkward.
At any rate, Spike the dog gets to be Zwei and Rarity is the obvious Weiss.
Given his earnest if slightly incompetent personality type (at least in the earlier seasons) I’d use Flash as the Jaune stand-in here.
Cinder would have to be Midnight Sparkle.
