“No officer, it’s fine, she was emotionally eighteen! So we can just let this go…”
He was mature beyond his physical appearance.
You regrets so much
He’s none of those things. The greed part was due to his race and he learned to control it.
All the others have consistently been proven false, and any regressions only show up when its convenient for the plot which happens to every other character as well.
Those first three are all the same models with slight variations, such as mane style, wrinkles, and et cetera. The second two are also the same models as well, only one has knobby knees and more wrinkles. Well that and the bun is lower instead of high up.
@Cirrus Light
I never said they don’t make custom models when it’s appropriate. Though Fleur’s model has also been reused in Sassy Saddles, Mistmane, and there’s another I can’t think of at the moment. If it’s unimportant to the plot, they tend to reuse models with different cutiemarks, colors, and manes. Sometimes at different scales too.
They kinda do, actually.
They make new models for random background ponies pretty often, too. Fleur, some of the colts, the nerd pony, Hayseed Turnip, basically all of the Hooffields and McColts, the renter and his daughter in Rarity Takes Manehatten, and almost every other pony in that episode…
@Meanlucario
Now that’s simply because they reuse flash models whenever possible. They probably don’t have an inbetween middle age and ancient model.
Ponies spend about 90% of their life in their prime.
Most likely a retcon, as “Perfect Pear” pretty clearly shows Granny Smith age from middle age to slightly elderly in a reasonable timeframe.
I’m going to cry with the end of the last episode.
MLP made me really feel and care about characters for the first time, just about. Man. What am I gonna do with my life?
@Meanlucario
Lol. I think that is just an inconsistency. Either that, or we learned their years are very short :p
Hmm. I wonder how long the longest lived land mammals live?
Edited
Winter Wrap-up: “No Spike, Ponyville was started by Earth ponies, so for hundreds of years they’ve never used magic to clean up winter. It’s traditional.”
Hundreds of moons. Big difference. But hey, even their years could be wildly different in length than our 365 day (where 1 day = 86,400 seconds) years.
Seconds are nicely and solidly defined as 9,192,631,770 cycles of the radiation that gets an atom of cesium-133 to vibrate between two energy states. So while days, years, and the length of phases of the moon all depend on the planet, seconds are universally defined. I mean, they may use a different “second”, but then it’s not a “second” so don’t call it one :p
But given we can assume their world is the same until noted otherwise, we just assume their seconds, minutes, hours, days and years are the same.
100 months (roughly moons) is only like 8 years btw.
Yeah but it’s not the same from comics or books.
Just because of series ends doesn’t mean that automatically kills any shippings and it.
Touché…Still waiting for someone to be legal is not always the best or as I’ve seen before or Rarity finds another love or Spike is picked by someone of his age (and maybe species).
Has anything in the show told us they live longer? Granny Smith is hundreds of years old, so ponies might outlive dragons.
