Quite possible. Seemed like a lot of juju went into that spell.
Just watched that episode and I think Chrysalis actually was weak because of her mean six clone spell.
It’s not known if she’s as strong as regular twilight, but regardless, she showed that Chrysalis is rather weak at the moment and open conflict is not something she can do at the time being.
Cause Evil Twilight has magic from both Twilight and Chrysalis
And if Starscream Sparkle WASN’T as strong as regular Sparkle, then that basically ensure she would have been eliminaed in any conflict in the open.
Hence her working behind the shadows.
