Can’t they try cuddling in a shower? It will cool their bodies - and heat the atmosphere up (by the second law of thermodynamics and the law of conservation of energy).

Eeyup in the grand tradition of “Toodle-Pip, Watch aut, Cor Blimey” although in that dialect it’s generally spelt “Luv” as in “Sorry Luv” “Luv a Duck” and “Alright Luv?”

English people, as well as Australians, use the word “love” a lot more loosely compared to the way Americans use the word. Americans don’t usually say it in a way that means “buddy”, where British people might, and actually american couples don’t normally refer to each other like this either. We usually say “honey” or “dear”
It’s hard to tell what kind of dialect Celestia is using here, honestly. They are a couple in Solfoe’s universe so it’s not quite being used in the “buddy or pal” kind of way but at the same time I would normally expect her to say honey, darling, dear, sweetie or something else. It just doesn’t quite seem like a line I’d give her judging by the way she normally speaks.
In her defense, she is thousands of years old, so maybe this is an old habit that’s just slipping this one time. If Equestria could be thought of as a sort of English society, maybe in the past ponies spoke in a more old-english kind of way.
Wow, this came at an appropriate time, since where I’m living we’re in the middle of the greatest heatwave in nearly a hundred years. It’s even too hot to cuddle anyone.

Soon you’ll be all chilly. Might wanna snuggle up.

Sure, I don’t mind.

That’s a British thing?
Can I make that a comic?
