It’s hard to put LGBT characters at the forefront when in practice it represents about 15% of society.  
I also want to point out that when you talk about Russia having trouble accepting LGBT people and China, for whom it is a western disease, having LGBT characters present in such a series follows the world, I say bravo.

People who use “soccer moms” in 2019 must have never watch anything outside of MLP for 10 years. There are no soccer moms. The majority of USA, cartoon, comic industry as well as Hollywood is not only not against LGBT but active in promoting it or even forcing it. People are more sick of forced diversity these days than theres any conservative complaining about LGBT. Heck if such a person existed, social meainstream media would already make news about him/her being racist and sexist and homophobic.  
The only reason Hasbro doesn’t make all characters LGBT is becasue they want to sell toys in countries like China and Russia which contribute to majority of profits there.

Frankly there is only on this site that the Rarijack couple is as much highlighted.  
The show may not be to your liking but it makes efforts by introducing non-straight couples.  
I think that in the end there will be no couple with straight M6s or not, only assumptions of historical fan.
 
I fear that the final season will be a disappointment no matter what happens because the characters will not have evolved despite the developments they have had. a lot of history with no final conclusion.

I mean honestly ragamuffin is basically just AJ male version. I think people getting pissed over this are absolutely in the right actually? I mean cmon…you can’t tell that after Rollercoaster Of Friendship Rarity and AJ, their EQG forms, aren’t totally gay for each other. Or at least queerplatonic with all that blushing and hugging and jealousy and what not that was going on between them.
 
Seems like Hasbro just copped out on making EQG Rarijack canon cuz ‘o shit I’ll lose views from soccer moms who DONT support lgbt…better play it safe!’ I’m really disappointed they’re taking the Disney approach to this because they’ll lose money. Like EQG is a show for preteen girls right? It would be absolutely awesome for closeted bi/gay girls if Rarity and Applejack finally just smooched cutely on screen. Instead of Rarity and Ragamuffin..who will go down yet again in raging brony posts about how he belongs up there with shit tier Tiember Spruce and Flash Sentry.  
Flash is a OK guy, lovable with the right writer, and they’ve developed his character a little bit at least. I don’t see a problem if he’s shipped with Twi.
 
Timber? Boring af and kinda creepy of him to flirt with SciTwi at camp???? Basically shoved in there but whatever. If you give him a good backstory and personality I guess it’d be a decent ship.
 
Ragamuffin tho..literally just put in there to negate GirlXGirl Rarijack happening and replace it with BoyXGirl. It’s like it someone likes genderbent AJ X normal rarity but doesn’t like normal AJ x normal Rarity. You have to admit’ it’s a very iffy view to have.

On one hand it show Rarity has a taste for physical qualities that Applejack represent. But on the other hand she would still a pick a male version over her. Which is that confirms her as a straight woman, would sink RariJack permanently.

I am against the use of filter already because its cuts dialogue and locks people in their bubble.  
It is also a confession of submission to a mass-popular that remains in their bubble.
 
If I can sum it up, it’s a classic couple’s battle.  
this is itinerant to the series as no couple is defined, just offered for the most part.  
It is a children’s series but which offers a suitable writing quality allowing the arrival of fans.  
(the show is for girls normally but the boys watch it secretly)
 
these fans go wild because they are older than the target audience and have completely different expectations.  
all these older fans practice quite different and this feels more concerned about relationships,  
On the one hand, lesbian couple fans look for reference couples in their heterosexual world and are therefore forced to force things. on the other hand hetero couples see their couple broken by the expression of practice that are not theirs. after only the preferences differ so nothing serious, someone’s practices engage only them and their partner.
 
conflict can only be resolved through dialogue or a less diplomatic solution.  
To be blind as you suggest is not a solution, it is to postpone the conflict when it is more serious.  
for my part I chose dialogue. (I know it was a bit long)

tous ces fans plus âgée on des pratique bien différente et ce sente plus concerné par les relations,  
d’un coté les fan de couple lesbien cherche des couples de références dans se monde d’hétéro et elles sont donc obliger de forcer les choses.  
de l’autre coté les couples hétéro voie leur couple brisés par l’expression de pratique qui ne sont pas les leur.  
après seule les préférences différent donc rien de grave, les pratiques de quelqu’un n’engage qu’elles et leur partenaire.
 
les conflit eux ne peuvent se régler que par le dialogue ou une solution moins diplomatique.  
faire l’aveugle comme vous le suggérer n’est pas une solution c’est reporter le conflit lorsqu’il sera plus grave.  
pour ma part je choisi le dialogue. (je sait c’était un peu long)
