The “flourishes with my hair” clause was a last-minute addition and now my favorite part. I imagine Rarity being very particular about what a swish means.

Rarity: A prearranged code of blinks, nods, and flourishes with my hair.
DM: There’s no way you two actually–
Applejack: Of course we worked on exit strategies in advance! Look, here’s the list of signals we agreed upon, signed and dated.
DM: You didn’t… You did. <sigh> Great. We’ve upgraded from notes to memos.
