Probably because Rarity likes to use my crush on her to her advantage instead of mare-ing up and telling me she either will or won’t go out with me. Still a cute ship though! Plus, now I have Gabby to turn to if things don’t work out with Rarity soo- Yeah.
I don’t usually like shippings, but this is one of the few exceptions. I don’t know why some people hate Sparity.

True, but I’m just glad that they never shot down Sparity in the show. Not that I would ever stop shipping it, but it would be a pretty big blow if they were to torpedo one of the most beloved pairings in the fandom.
They are still doing the Sparity thing in the comic series.
True love is not based on the glance, wink or a hug. It is based on years of devotion, overcoming the differences, saving each other, fighting for one another and learning to love and accept the flaws, even managing to heal the old wounds.
