Okay, once again I need to ask – I see this kind of thing with Velvet all the time in fiction, but do anyone’s parents ever actually do that in real life? It seems a bit incredible.
All the time. Parents are always asking me and my sister if we’ve found someone yet. Always subtle and not so subtle hints. More from my Mom, less to never from my Dad. My friend’s in a similar boat to me say their parents do the same thing. Wanting grand-kids, etc. So yeah, this is quite common.

The closest thing I’ve seen is my mother always asking me if I was done with my actuarial exams yet, always seemingly before asking about anything else in my life, and even she stopped doing that after I finally flipped out at her for it.
You know, the… one thing I should… Excuse me for a second.
Moondancer and Lawrence, though.
