To some, a better suggestion would have been ‘It’s over 1,000’…but to any person who’s a BIG Robot and Monster fan :iconrobot-and-monster:, you probably would recall how THIS specific number is mighty important…because it’s a catchphrase of one of RnM’s despicable but hilarious characters, Grandma 10010. :XD:
 
:bulletgreen: Let me be honest that I had intended to make a special 1,000th deviation…but somehow I overlooked my amount of deviations, and before I knew it, I exceeded beyond 1,000. ^^; I really wanted to make that special deviation that comes once in a long time, not once every year like my birthday/Deviantart anniversary [link]. I kept thinking about making a really special kind of deviation representing a special number…during so, I kept thinking about Robot and Monster, episodes ranging from ‘Speeding Ticket’ to ‘Baconmas’. Then I suddenly thought of Grandma’s role in ‘Baconmas’, what with her constant’ ‘cursing through code’. Couldn’t get the 1’s and 0’s out of my head, and kept mentally repeating ‘1101’.
 
And that’s when I thought of what the number in which my special deviation will contain. :)
 
With that picture, I decided to combine two of many things I love: Robot and Monster…and Granny Smith from MLP FIM. I love Granny, and I don’t seem to have drawn a lot of her lately. ^^; So why not include her in my 1,101st deviation? :)
 
One thing I love about Granny besides being that heartwarming old gal that reminds you of the love of family and friends…it’s how tough she is. I seriously loved the scene where it looked like she was going to box Flim’s ears in ‘The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6,000’ after he called her a chicken. Who says she wouldn’t do the same to someone as mean-spirited and foul-mouthed as Grandma 10010? :XD:
 
I may love Robot and Monster…but I SO dream of Granny Smith bucking the wires right out of Grandma 10010! :rofl:
