How about instead of simply dismissing anyone who doesn’t agree with you, you instead don’t act like a jerk and talk about your opinion like a reasonable person.

You’re joking right? She’s just a generic tourist with no personality whatsoever.
Shining Armor actually has a defining character trait in being a really nice guy. Not a very well defined character trait, but it’s there.

Hahaha… Peachbottom has more character and we have seen her less.
The reason Cadance and Shining Armor don’t have much personality is because they’re supporting characters who have gotten very little screen time.
Shining Armor has a more developed personality than he did in A Canterlot Wedding, from what we’ve seen he’s very friendly and charming, but at the same time isn’t afraid to get his hooves dirty to protect others.
true, but her entire story in her episode was about her obsessing over shining armor and wanting to be back to him. (granted it was her wedding, but that’s like no excuse…) wait a minute, who am I kidding; it’s shining armor whose entire existence is defined by his relationship with his wife.
I’d say that Cadence is more defined by her relationship with Twilight than with Shining Armor
… unless you’re princess cadence.
This actually looks like it will be decent. Not great, maybe, but certainly not something that would ruin the entire show as some people might say.
Honestly, I don’t see this really being such a bad thing. Everyone has a natural desire to seek out relationships, and I don’t see romance becoming a major part of a show that’s intended for girls aged 6-10.
Twilight isn’t going to stop being anything like herself because she’s interested in a guy, this isn’t a show where a female character having a love interest is going to be the one thing that defines them.
