SMAC would likely suit Twilight better. She seems like the type to be entranced by the future techs and atmospheric mythos.
Civ is fine for Luna and Celestia. In fact, they are basically playing a video-game version of what their day job is. Kinda weird when you think about it.
Perhaps Cadence should try Colonization?
It’d still be the same thing really. Just replace the barbarians with Deidre’s mindworms, Ghandi with late-game Chairman Keo, and Montezuma with the god damn Believers.

do have 4 on steam
the game has to be rigged against the player because the AI is dumber than dog shit. Civ V had some of the least competent computer opponents i’d ever seen.
i guess they’re playing on Diety, if Twilight managed to lose. or she just wasted all her time trying to tech and build. she might be the type to go a hundred turns forgetting to train any military units.
The bug went memetic, and by Civ V, his love of nukes is a 12 out of 10.
Fun fact the reason he’s like that is due to a bug in Civ 1
he has very low aggression 1 and due to him always taking stuff that lowers aggression it loops around and resets at 10
