Description

There are a few plot inconsistencies here with “Daring Don’t” (working on the assumption that “Power Ponies” had to happen before this) but they aren’t terribly “off”.

Imagine how Daring Do react to finding out about the truth of Marer Do Well and the Walking Dead. Zero doubt she’d go beserk on the ones responsible.,

AJ couldn’t remember his name even in the episode she met him in.
 
It’s possible that she forgot his name again. Which is understandable, since she isn’t a fan of the Daring Do books.
 
She didn’t make a big deal out of seeing Daring Do in this comic, so it’s possible that she met her already (In Daring Don’t).

My theory is that this Daring Do is from the books, and is not A. K. Yearling, who actualy has the memories of their adventures in Daring Don’t.
 
That or A. K. Yearling is senile or has a very poor memory.

It works out (with this taking place after DD and Power Ponies) if you imagine AJ isn’t a big fan of the Daring Do books, thus her unfamiliarity with her or Ahiuztol.
 
But the timing is definitely explicit after the events of Power Ponies.
