According to this map… It’s going to be:
Applejack V.S. Soarin’ for the championship.
Pinkie Pie V.S. Spitfire for 3rd place.

Well look at that, a PIE match for the final.

I still go completely for the Applejack efficiency over Soarin’ creativity.

It feels awesome actually. I couldn’t believe what I saw yesterday.
German’s defense has improved now that Lahm is playing RB again and Hummels is back. That was already visible against France.
The offense was never a problem and now the defense seems to work too.
So now I can say yes, we can win this thing. But the last match isn’t won yet, and Brazil was special yesterday… you can’t expect a game like that against Argentina or Netherlands.
Go Applejack!

@Peruvian_Pony

Nonsense, the big three South Americans ego is inflated enough as it is, all world cups hosted in the Americas, all South American champions. Sure, I would love to see Peru, Paraguay, Costa Rica or even Mexico and the U.S.A. coming on top, but Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina have been for so long the absolute prima donas of this half of the world, that an European champion would be a big stinky piece of humble pie for those three.

As someone who lives in the Americas, I truly wish to see a non american champion for this world cup.

Watching Brazil play today was a disgrace not only for the Brazilians, but for almost every South american country that ever had seen them as a good team! Us Peruvians were one of those countries… we’ve lost to Brazil 6-0 before but I never ever thought I would ever say anything remotely similar happen on the reverse end to the Brazilians… Oh well, no Neymar no nothing.

Oh yeah, one more thing:
VAMOS ARGENTINA!!!!! VAMOS ARGENTINA!! VAMOS ARGENTINA!! VAMOS ARGENTINA!! VAMOS ARGENTINA!!

SEVEN TO ONE

How does it feel to be so wrong?

Germany all the way for cup, still calling it. Been saying it since group, sticking with it. Monstrous team this year.

Colombia prowess came down like a paper castle…but again, looking back, they did made impressive wins in the tournament, but against the likes of Ivory Coast, Japan, Greece and Suarez-less Uruguay, all of them far from top contenders. They got cocky and the media hyped them to no end, but in the end, their biggest resource during the world cup was sheer luck in avoiding a true strong contender until Brazil.

In RPG terms, they didn’t got a single experience point from their previous easy matches, while Brazil on the other hand have been steadily showing better games against steadily better teams.

I mean you could also apply “When your enemy is watching, feign weakness” but I still say that their defense isn’t THAT weak and their high pressure strategy of continuous possession and pushing deep into their half is going to work. It absolutely throws their opponents off because they panic and stressed and that breeds mistakes. Your greatest ally is your opponent’s incompetence.

@patec
Agree with you on that, he made a similar mistake against Madrid that allowed Bale to fire off a half-field volley (close, but failed to go in).

Germany has an amazingly well rounded team, with every position filled in by world star players. But there’s something off about them recently that worries me, some inconsistencies that may cost them.
