Dash gives off “lesbian” social cues about as hard as AJ gives of “Southern” social cues. Both are based on stereotypical presentation that is of course not at all universal, but is fairly common. If an actual IRL human woman walked around with a rainbow-colored mullet while being aggressive and brash, most people wouldn’t think twice about assuming she was a lesbian whether she was or not.
 
I just assume she is because she reminds me so much of one of my cousins who is super gay; but, everyone just assumed that she was a gigantic tomboy growing up, so YMMV, since the only real difference between the “tomboy” and “lesbian” assumptions appears to be the age of the person being labeled.

There’s uh… probably a reason for that, possibly related to why Applejack usually gets made “Southern”.

Its okay I guess. Dash looks to manish to me though.  
I don’t get why so many of her humanizations look to me, for lack of a better term, like a lesbian.

Colors are more vivid and cartoony in this version; it looks like the animated counterpart to the previous one’s comic book.

I think Fluttershy is usually seen as tall because of her lanky appearance when she was younger, and Pinkie as chubby because of her food consumption.
 
I think AJ is typically stockier than the others when people draw her and Rarity almost always has an hourglass figure. A lot of people seem to like short Dash too.

Short Twilight is short.
 
…It’s pretty cute, actually.

Twilight’s a little too short here and lacks any type of physical presence that would set her apart as a leader of this group. Overall though this is very good.

Twilight being black, tan, or something also seems quite popular actually. I guess it goes with how her purple color is kinda darker then the other 5 ponies.  
(How come nobody ever makes any of ‘em Asian, or something? I guess it’d be hard to draw “Asian” without looking a li’l stereotypical unfortunately.)
 
And I don’t know, I’ve seen different types of Fluttershys & Pinkies. I’ve seen skinny Pinkies, short Fluttershys to.

It’s fascinating the way that fanon has almost universally decided that Humanized Fluttershy is tall and lanky and Humanized Pinkie is chubby and short(er than everyone but Twilight); the others get a wide range of body types among artists who actually bother to draw those, but these two rarely get any other kinds of humanization.

Twi’s not short, she’s fun-size!
