Well, in the fanfic “The Canterlot Healing Process”, Velvet and Night Light were concerned about Twilight not being at the fake wedding and supported Twilight when she told them what happened at the rehearsal. To me, the fanfic in general was like a scene that should have been in the episode but was deleted due to length.

That’s why (personally for me anyway) MLP Sins is pretty much. They enforce way too much on errors, while Cinema Sins tries to mix comedy with the many goof ups in movies.

I’ve seen a few of those MLP Sins videos, and they always try to force the errors into their video.

Well, there are multiple reasons for why they still would be happy.
 
1: This is their son’s wedding. They would attend regardless of Twilight and would be happy for their son.
 
2: They could’ve been told that Twilight didn’t want to come or something. Shining was being brainwashed.
 
 
Why is it when people critique this episode, they tend to ‘Oh poor Twilight’ When Twilight was raving like a lunatic and probably wasn’t sleeping to add to it. Her attack was ‘She’s evil, cause she shot a green beam that made my brother’s eyes go wobbly and she’s kind of a jerk.’ Ugh.

Why should they, when they attend the wedding of the only offspring showing actual interest in prolonging their genome ?
