I just don’t care about Starlight. I don’t think that much about it beyond just not caring about her in any way. Nothing about comparing her to anypony else, nothing beyond just herself, don’t like her, what she acts like, her design, or her backstory.

I think Starlight might make a great addition to the EqG cast. she could be the Batman to Sunset’s Superman. hell, she defeated Juniper without the use of magic–the same way she was defeated by Princess Twilight! :D

Well, I guess we are on the same channel. The problem is that the drama only serves to shoehorn her in the threads, whenever is to talk shit or talk shill.

That’s the unfortunate thing about her, people either can’t shut up about how much they hate her or how much they love her. mention her name in passing and you get six people from either side calling for her head, or calling her their waifu. There is no inbetween.

I know not all questions have a definitive answer, but I don’t think there’s any appropriate way to answer this one without getting stuck in a loop. :/

Maybe you haven’t found another way to avoid a loop. I making experiments to see how it works. The results are inconclusive, but I would rather found a different headway than being stuck in a circle, even if I need a bit of suffering in order to break the cyrcle.
 
I don’t like when people cause and self-inflict punishment to keep the loop.

We already have 7 main characters… And most of them are still underdeveloped so nope.

Because it shows off how “special” Starlight is, particularly to the writing staff. No other characters sans Princess Twilight has managed to go to EQG but now Starlight can as well, which just pushes home unique she is.  
Then there’s the fact that EQG is the black sheep to many, that the stuff in the show will get pushed into it while EQG remains constantly blocked off from the show. Starlight can appear in both the show and EQG, where as Sunset can ONLY appear in EQG.  
And then that leads into the Sunset Starlight skuffle because they share similar backgrounds and functions, it is the show stating Starlight as more legitimate or the one the writers push more. So putting in Starlight basically pushes out a lot of the unique things EQG has going for it in favor of something the show already has and is a contested pary of said show.

Having Starlight in EG again is sheer redundancy.

It is a factor no matter how you slice it but its not the whole sum of it. I feel the issue is more a bit more tied into overexposure for Starlight and blocked content from EQG into the main show.

Also, just think about what the most likely plot for the spring break special will be about for like 5 minutes

Well, I feel kinda alleviated by yuor comment.
 
I felt like if I had to know somehow, because now I need to find a way to counter that, and the only counter seems to be “avoid her overexposure on threads”………………….shit now I feel like if I had a lot to work out.

I really hope that the spring break special doesn’t go out of its way to avoid having the ponified Human Six meeting their Equestrian counterparts, but they probably will.

Had a strong feeling them being ponies won’t be long in the special..  
Like most EG installments, it won’t be EG if ponies got way more screentime if that makes sense

I mean, Forgotten Friendship seemed to proportionally spend more time in Equestria than every other EqG installment up to that point, the first film included.
