Oh I agree, I don’t mind this style, but I sure as hell wish they had kept the old one.

That trailer did NOT do it any favors either though, though. Not only did it do the exact same thing as Teen Titans GO and Thundercats Roar, that is follow up a very beloved show in a serious downgrade of animation (and the exact same kind of animation no less), but the trailer was just a ton of noise and nonsense and like yelling :/

I had trouble sticking with Gravity Falls, and I still haven’t watched Star and the Forces of Evil, solely because of the animation style, so unless G4.5 has something utterly grandiose about it I can’t see myself warming up to it D:

That’s valid. I’m very prepared to skip this shit. I’ll probably buy a toy or two because Rarity and Trixie look nice, but this show is just to stop us from leaving until G5 hits.

I would be very happy if people stopped droning on about a g5.

Ha, SVTFOE went downhill regardless of the artstyle, with S3 and especially S4.
 
Not very fondly memorable as a whole, with the love triangle shipping cancer that kinda sorta happened, and… a few other details, regarding its ending, and related events.
 
It was never about the art style for me, though.
