damn straight.

I think Saitama’s words sum it up pretty well:  
“If the heroes run and hide, who will stay and fight?”
 
The artists, the content creators, we are the heroes.

We shouldn’t hurt the site by leaving of course, but we shouldn’t also ignore the organized attack by people from Twitter and other places, who pretendent to have a noble goal, just to try and bring more and more censorship to this site.
 
We still should all stand for NO censorship being enforced because of the recent events.
 
Those activists already said that they won’t stop with their initial demands.
 
They promised that they will go after some site’s porn fetishes they don’t like, and get them to be removed from the site.

I just want to enjoy pony pictures, not gonna leave. I’m satisfied with just calling staff a bunch of nerds and call it a day.
 
Edit: Actually now that I look at the list of artists who went DNP against the intial censorship, if those guys really leave, I’m probably out too. Most of my favorite artists are on there, and if their art isn’t on derpi, not much reason to stay.

For those who are reading this. I think we can all agree that the last week has been a fucken joke. but regardless. I only have one point to share. I’m not leaving. I’m not calling for do not post party’s. I’m not going to hurt the site to prove a point. This place has been my home since 2014. I will not give it up because some children screamed about nazi pones existing on it (guess what. filters exist. USE THEM)
 
 
So. anyone in the same boat as me. feel free to chime in. otherwise. feel free to go to one of the dnp posts and scream into the void. I’m voting to stay. share my art. and chill. this is my home.
