She’d decide to get through the broken pane, to reach the deserted highway.
 
The success of breaking the window open did inspire her to act rational, although she was still in a general wave of emotion.

It was. The desolate highway was right there.

She let a hopeful smile appear on her face as she approached the broken pane, looking over to see if outside was reachable.

It shattered and along with the shatter were horrid screams as she now was able to escape.

She immediately picked one up, getting some balance with it. With a huff, she lifted it up in the air, proceeding to swing it at the pane of glass.

There were chairs nearby. That could be very useful against those windows.

She’d look around herself again, to try finding anything that could be used as blunt object to smash the glass. Her emotions, which were at a panicking height, rather suggested she please use ger fists to bash it. But finding a heavy object seemed a better idea, even in her panic.

As she looked back at the windows, she saw teens walking by her and talking to each other but she wasn’t in the reflection(?) what was this? Time to get out. Perhaps breaking the glass should do.

“What is happening!?” She cried out in growing anxiousness, slowly looking from place to place in an attempt to discover the source of the steps.
 
It terrified her at this point, managing to put her more rational side to the background as the emotions took over.

She was, though what this place was not normal. A school bell rung and then footsteps were heard pouring out into the area but there was no one.

She felt her knees go weak as she backed away from the “glass” pane, setting a hand over her face to actually make sure she was there.

It wasn’t a picture, it was real. Her reflection wasn’t there.

Her heart stopped beating. In a sense of words.
 
She’d let out a mumble of gibberish, shaking her head. “Glass can reflect the environment. . which could mean this is a. .” she reached out for the pane to touch it with a shaking hand ,“picture?”

As she tries, she sees that she had no reflection.

She’d slowly examine the lunchroom by looking around, although her new main goal was to probe the glass panes.
 
She set a slightly shivering hand at the edges of the panes, trying to find a key element that could let her atleast open it.
