it doesn’t fall into self-evident garbage standard, you can either explain that or take your points elsewhere
hahahahaha- No, sorry, that’s not how it works; you can take your own ball and go home if you want, but “GO AWAY AND STOP DISAGREEING WITH ME” is not the same thing as a coherent argument. You’re the one claiming self-evident status while you present your personal opinion as if it were uncontestable fact; it’s on you to explain that. Enough people– enthusiastically, even– liked EqG that you can’t really make unqualified blanket statements like “IT’S CRRRAP!” without sounding silly, any more than they could say “IT’S PERFECT AND FLAWLESS!”.
Celestia is trying to rush Twilight’s growth
I’ve felt the same thing pretty much since the beginning; the show doesn’t look like it’s ever going to elaborate on that, but the only reason that makes any sense is that Celestia is somehow aware of an imminent Big Bad that she and Luna aren’t going to be able to defeat– or that she’s foreseen they won’t survive– and she’s quickstepping her replacement instead of letting Twilight’s ascension happen organically.
@Niggoslav_Krawczyk
Don’t remember that happening in season 1!
Yeah, you’re right, that time she almost shrieked her way into making Nightmare Moon happen again was Ep.4 of Season 2. These were from Season 1, though:
…Golly, that Pinkie Pie, so goshdarn OOC in S4!
@Bolan
To me, Ponyville is it’s own little world that needs to be explored
This, yes. I want the S5 opener to be the CMC getting their cutie marks and the first half of the season just being nothin’ but fartin’ around Ponyville meetin’ new folks and interacting with all those BPs we’ve seen over the last four seasons.
@Itsthinking
What was EqG, if you don’t mind me asking?
Setting matters. It matters a lot.
@SeraphimDawn
I wonder how Cloudsdale is going to see Spike now
Maybe they’ll be glad he distracted everyone from the fact that they basically sent the Blue Angels to a flying competition and only won Gold by a nose against a team that was two thirds paper airplanes.
