any derpibooru apps?

I’m looking for a Final Fantasy job class to draw Derpy and Dr. hooves in.
 
Not sure if I’m gonna draw it cute or not, but just looking for suggestions.

Having recently played Epic Mickey, I couldn’t help but notice some minute similarities between Sunset Shimmer and Oswald. Like Oswald, she’s the forgotten (excluding Celestia), jealous older counterpart to our main protagonist; she heavily resents Twilight Sparkle for stealing what she felt should have have been her life; resides in a parallel world beyond a magic mirror; and in earlier incarnations of the game, Oswald was planned to be far more villainous…

Back on Ponibooru,we were able to do tag searches. in our favorite images. This was particularly useful in checking for specific character’s art we saved among all our faves

I really felt like making this with this season coming to a close. So what are you expecting (or hoping) for in s5? I can’t wait to see if there’s a new major villain and how they handle this “Rainbow Kingdom” if that’ll even be a thing

The violent game thread sort of made me think about my own future and where I’d like it to go. I’m probably too young to really be thinking this far ahead but I’d like kids when I’m older. Hell, I even know what I’d like call them. Kinda of anyway.
 
So I put the question to you guys. Do you want to have children in your future? What would you name them? Considering the age-groups on this site, responses should be interesting.

State Senator Leland Yee is behind bars today after an FBI raid for charges of corruption, wire fraud and fucking gun trafficking. Yee has previously gone on record as telling gamers worried about his and other politician’s contempt for free speech to “quiet down” and claimed that the gaming industry “had no credibility” after the tragedy in Sandy Hook.
 
Even before this he worked with the governator to get a law passed in California banning the sale of M rated games to minors that got struck down by the Supreme Court in a ruling that definitively defined video games a constitutionally protected form of art.
 
I hope we can all put aside our individual differences and come together, as a community, to point and laugh at this scum bag as his political career falls into the gutter and his physical self into the tender mercies of the US justice system.

More specifically to myself, it’s a way to self-medicate. Sometimes it works, sometimes it makes things worse. But what makes it an even stranger experience is that looking for clop just doesn’t cross my mind when I’m in a good mood. I’m kinda ashamed to do that and I see that as more of a personal quirk. Just to make sure we’re clear here, I’m not saying anyone should feel ashamed for looking for clop. All I’m saying is that it’s a tendency of mine to feel ashamed when searching for it. Apparently if I’m already feeling ashamed because of other stuff, clop just doesn’t seem to faze me more unless I overdose.

I’m trying to make pony related patches for a military combat shirt I got for Christmas. Thing is, I don’t have very many ideas. There are a couple of conditions I have, however.
 

For those not familiar with the term, it’s used to denote the relegation of sci-fi and fantasy literature (and by extension, other mediums such as film) to the category of “second class writing”.
 
It’s been this way for years, with fantasy and sci-fi generally looked down upon. Even with the recent spike in popularity (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, etc) they’re still seen as being lesser forms of literature.
 
I’ve heard of academic “creative writing” classes shunning anything that isn’t “true literary fiction”. I remember years ago back when I was in high-school, my creative writing teacher wouldn’t let us submit anything that was high fantasy or high sci-fi. I’ve also read many critics reviews that just tear into fantasy and sci-fi as being “childish”, “unsophisticated”, “style over substance”, or my favorite (and I shit you not), “too imaginative”.
 
So, what does everyone here think? Are the genres of Sci-fi and Fantasy (and for the sake of brevity, lets assume that this includes all sub-genres) are lesser forms of literature?

Welcome to the conspiracy theory thread. Come here to discuss the sinister designs of humanities hidden masters, or to just have a laugh at the expense of people deluded enough to believe in conspiracies. I myself am a skeptic who is perversely fascinated by these sorts of theories. I believe in chaos, and in the maxim that one should never attribute to malice what can be more easily attributed to incompetence.

I’ve said a few times that I’ve wanted to create a sort of “Philosophy and Religion” general thread as both an effort to concentrate discussion of the topics into a singular place and to satisfy my own morbid curiosity about how such a thread would be handled. It may end up being a terrible idea that implodes into a seething mass of drama. The only way to know is to try!
 
Anyway, such matters are often touchy subjects, as they tend to be integral parts of a persons life. Their way of thinking and acting, their morals, and their entire world view are influenced by such aspects. Of course, as we’re all well aware, there’s often a lot of conflict between opposing world views. However, I’m off the mind that “the heat” of some of these conflicts comes from failures to communicate. While a good debate probably won’t change peoples minds, or put an end to any of the major conflicts, it will at least give people perspectives they wouldn’t have had before.
 
This is a pony site, not a philosophy and religion forum, which actually makes better in my opinion. People aren’t coming here with their swords drawn, ready to battle for their chosen side. This, I believe, will make the responses more genuine and candid. Hopefully attracting the common citizen, and not the crazed zealot.
 
To this end, I’d wager the best place to start would be take stock of our participants. Find out more about each other.

Other than that, I suppose I want to see debate here. I want to see world views challenged and defended. Don’t be afraid to ask each other questions, engage each other. This isn’t a random drama post cluttering up the front page, debate is expected here.
 
I know it’s frivolous to demand civility, since these topics have a tendency to stoke the fires of passion. I guess all I can say is to respect “Rule 0” and don’t get your asses banned.

Long story short, Rule #7 is a bit pants, so we’re changing it to be less restrictive.
 
Long story long, Rule #7 was an attempt to make sure that comments on images didn’t contain content that would be rated outside the image’s own rating, thus invalidating the rating or requiring it to be changed.
 
Sounds nice and all, but it didn’t really work. The site’s audience is primarily adults, and that means a lot of things get adult comments.
 
So, Rule #7 is getting a slight change to allow for comments outside the owning image’s rating, but only as long as the comment (or the relevant part of it) that falls outside the rating is appropriately warned for and hidden inside spoiler tags ( [spoiler] butts [/spoiler] ).
 
For example, dropping a grimderp comment on an image with just the Explicit rating tag would look like so:

And so forth.
 
 
Does it look silly? Hell yes it does.
 
Which is why updating the comment system is the coders’ current top priority. We hope to have a system that allows for a more elegant handling of these sort of situations, as well as comment editing and some other much needed features.
 
Also keep in mind that this is not loophole to bypass Rule #0; dropping a ”kill yourself” isn’t gonna fly.
