For the Superhero episode, I am hoping with all of my heart for an epic Ponyzord fight.

All of that seems possible, because you’d think they would have Celestia know about the butterfly effect and time paradoxes and stuff like that.
 
Besides, doesn’t the whole “go back in time to prevent something bad from happening” thing has an immense problem with it? Wouldn’t the timeline from which you came cease to exist?

If it’s a dream, it might be Luna’s doing. Like “it hurts me to relive these memories, but I need to show you how it happened, so you’re prepared if it happens again for real”.

I’m half-hoping Celestia had nothing to do with this (for once) and Twilight is being shown by someone else who wants her to see the past.

More of my idiotic theories:
 
What if the Nightmare Moon scene is not a flashback, but a simulation? Luna and Celestia are testing Twilight to see how she would react and handle the situation? Or it could be just a dream.

I honestly don’t even care any more. I expect people to act a certain way whenever something happens with the show now, my feelings are more “wow they did it in the way I thought they would” instead of “why are they doing this” now.
 
I don’t expect much from an Internet fandom based around a TV show designed to sell toys to little girls, at least any more.

If she was really as terrible as the fandom perceives her as, you’d think she would be out of her job and fandom would just completely collapse right? None of those happened………..At least not yet.

Continuity is good and much needed, especially with Twilight, Dash and Fluttershy. Can’t have all that progress in S3 go to waste.

Unrelated to the animatic, but kind of sad that people are still going to make “those” memes about McCarthy even though she said she was sorry and doesn’t like seeing them.

It’s gotta be a flashback. She says “There can be only one princess in Equestria,” so unless she’s got some kind of Order 66 up her sleeve she’s most likely in a time when there was only one other princess for her to deal with.
 
Also, Sedusa confirmed for S4 villain; Double Rainboom confirmed for prophetic. I kid, of course.

Well, most believe it’s some kind of flashback.

It seems that Nightmare Moon is appearing as well. I’m actually kind of worried about that, because I fear that Celestia will punish Luna by sending her to the Moon again, this time forever. I like Luna, so that would be really depressing for me.

Although I should qualify that by saying I dont expect the season to be bad or anything. Merely that the teaser didnt tickle my g-spot if you catch my meaning.
