He just meant that show in particular, and it’s his opinion, he has a right, don’t let it bother you. You can still voice disagreement without getting too upset.

He didn’t say he hates you, he said he’s just had it with your behavior, and doesn’t want to talk to you anymore. Calm down, it’s not worth “dying” over. (Also, looking at his favorites, he has some shipping/romance MLP fanart faved, so he doesn’t hate all romance.)
 
He may be a bit harsh on the show, but you need to understand he has a right to his opinion, and his opinions aren’t going to “hurt” the show, and they shouldn’t hurt you either.  
Given your recent comments, I’m starting to worry about your mental state, and I suggest you see a psychologyst, or something.

You asked for an honest opinion and you bash me when I tell mine. I even gave ideas on what would make the show better and you think I hate the show because I “don’t get it”. If I hated the show, I wouldn’t have watched it.

As far as I can no one’s been overly harsh, at least not in my opinion, and you can defend something without overreacting.
 
Flaws also make characters relatable, and either way flaws need to be acknowledged so that they can be corrected.

And yes, i was aware of the flaws, especially on Season 2-4 (especially with Star having the hots for Tom instead of waiting for Marco), but still.
 
I wish defending something i love and hold so dearly wouldn’t be the same as overreacting because they trear.
 
Eden Sher deserves better :( i just want her in the MCU. Is that so hard to get?

No, you’re overreacting. We’re not asking you to hate it, we’re asking you to chill and be aware of it’s flaws. I love the show and I’m aware of it’s flaws, and you accepting it’s flaws is not going to cause it to die. If you love it, it doesn’t die, if you hate it, it doesn’t die, you have no control over that and neither do either of us.

Guess what? Sausage Party is also a cartoon and nobody claims it’s for kids. You’re taking this way too far. I’ve yet to see this kind of dedication for MLP.

“It’s just a cartoon” Isn’t the same thing as “It’s for kids”. at the end of the day, it’s a cartoon, not something to get that upset about. For the last part, you may need to clear up what you mean.

Last time I checked “It’s for kids” was a terrible excuse for poorly-made shows like, for example, Teen Titans Go. And people get triggered at the show’s lewd art.

Chill, You’re not the only one here, nor in the whole world, who likes this show. I like this show, but that does not mean it cannot be criticized, and criticizing the show doesn’t ruin it for people. I recognize the show’s flaws and I still love it and still think more people should watch it, I just recognize where the show should improve.
