And now the game’s recent reviews went from “mostly negative” to “mixed”. If we can keep this up, it might go back to at least “mostly positive” and we can set things back the way they were.

Yea it’s a shame

I just picked this game up during the Steam Winter Sale and I already beat the story mode…or at least what was there.

It’s a good game. Shame that the development is incomplete and will remain so.

You know, if they have the chance, can they add a rubber-hose styled character in later updates that blows shit up?

I watched Max play and the ran into Viva and even a Dev in the pixel lobby.

If they expand the pixel lobby worlds I could see that being the case.  
I guess they could combine all of the pixel lobby worlds together in some way.
 
An mmorpg pixel world with 2d fighting game as the combat system would be something different in the market. Only other games I recall doing something similar were both dragon ball games budokai 3 and Tag Team on the PSP. In those games it felt like an awkward way to slow story progression and keep it from being just a simple fighting game. Hopefully it would be better and more that that.

Anyone else getting steam inventory item messages when they find an item in the salt caves?  
When I check my inventory there is nothing there.  
Perhaps the items will be tradable on the steam marketplace at some point?

The “cartoony” artstyle isn’t something that happens all too often in fighting games

Not expecting that level of popularity.  
But just popular enough to be noticed by the larger part of the fighting games market.  
For a rather unique concept.

A bunch of people in a pixel lobby got together to raid the caves. So many predators at once O_O. I got googly eyes out of it though.
 
In a group raid it is hard to tell the AI from the players once Character based pixel AI come after you. Walked right up to what I thought was another player and got myself beat.

I doubt it’s gonna end up being more popular than Doom, or Doki Doki Literature Club, but it’s an awesome game, and I think Mane6 should be proud.

Fighting games don’t really get as much mainstream appeal as games such as doom do. Not even streetfighter games. Street Fighter 4, MK9 and Injustice being exceptions to the rule.

I’d laugh if this game ends up being like Doom in popularity.
 
Co side ring not games were originally supposed to be based on established titles but were denied by IP holders. Forcing devs to create their own stuff.
