Background Pony #84DB

About
– Do we actually need both full comic and all in one? I can’t see any difference. We could just alias them.

My understanding would be that all in one also applies to NON comics, while full comic is specifically only for comics but not for things that are none
This for example could get all in one but not full comic, because it’s not a comic
>>1466573 (slightly nsfw)
But yeah, debatable if all 3 tags are needed

I’d vote for a rework of that tag (or at least a clarification when to use it) instead of the implications.

  • Full comic is misleading and doesn’t actually apply to all full comics. For example, it doesn’t seem to get used for 2 panel comic at all. But if we start doing that now, then the compilation implication would definitely be wrong.

  • There are quite a few pictures tagged with it where every comic panel is from the same source post, like >>1870181 and >>1749904. IMO splitting panels up to post it on Tumblr or Twitter doesn’t make it a compilation when you put them back together. And then there are the “full” comics that actually were posted as just a single image, like >>986825.

Default search

If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization, wings, and spread wings would all be found by a search for wing, but sewing would not be.
