I’m fairly certain this is…normal for them? Twilight giving Spike baths, I mean. Din’t she raise him from birth, or as close to that as possible? And its probably happened the other way around as well, if for some reason Twilight couldn’t bathe herself.

I mean, its fine, I understand what the joke is supposed to be but, I really think the author could’ve found a better pair to make it seem akward/perverted/etc. It just looks like a normal, heart-warming family situation with them.

Funny… if you ignore the fact that they give each other baths in canon. In Winter Wrap Up Spike gives Twilight a bath after she gets sprayed by the skunks, and in Lesson Zero when she gets Spike all covered in the frosting she says that she has to go “give her baby dragon a bath.”

So, nice try, but the bath thing happens in canon, so it isn’t awkward/perverted.
