I found the comic, and you’re right, not directly.
your current filter.But it’s implied by her saying a little bit younger that Twilight was incredibly young, and Twilight’s age in canon is generally thought to be around 18-24. And since Twilight’s reaction to Starlight’s question is more or less “He’s too young” we can infer she’s around 18-20 making Spike’s “a little bit younger” around 15-17.
Huh. 5-year-old Sweetie must have been super stunted then, or the mane six were all gargantuan for their age (especially Fluttershy the kaiju). :P

Not in this series. She says specifically that he’s not much younger than her. And she names herself at 19 iirc.
Was it ever said how old Twilight is in this series? I’d personally put her around 23 by season 6 in the show, which if Spike was 16, would put Twilight at ~7 when hatching him.
