Its been one hell of a journey with you guys. I’ll be hard pressed to find a fanbase like this one again.

Concept art and, in the emails, details on their plans. There were a few ideas going around, but the ones that were pretty solidly discussed consisted of a multidimensional realm, earth pony Twilight, unicorn Fluttershy, pegasus Pinkie and angry Applejack.
 
There was discussion regarding how many characters would appear in the main cast, including making the cast partly male, but nothing concrete there. There’s a pretty good picture of what they were attempting to form in concept.

The leaks have been pretty on the nose so far, up to and including season 9 being the end. The reasons to trust them has only increased.
 
The ultimate question is will the backlash against what was leaked cause Hasbro to change course with what was planned for G5. Because at this point, what was leaked was almost certainly the direction they were intending to take.

I don’t agree. I think there have been some really great episodes as recent as season 7. I admit, season 8 has definitely been more miss than hit in my opinion but saying that the show has been downhill since that long is just silly.
