Well, I meant that the Terran Marines were convicts and that military service was part of their sentence.
 
But I didn’t know that other bit. And I probably never would have made it into college if it were still mandatory- I don’t think I’d pass the fitness requirements.

I hate how most East Asian cuisines utterly lack dairy and heavy spices.

They do? ,but I thought Asia was a goldmine of exotic spices. India Trading company and all that.

East Asian, not South Asian cuisine. We DO use spices. But no where near the level of Middle Eastern and Indian cuisines. Because we are too into “balanced flavours”. No, I prefer STRONG flavours.
 
Also, Japanese “curry” ain’t curry. It lacks this cumin aroma and flavour that are essential in Indian curries. It lacks the texture semi-gritty texture and creaminess that Indian curries have. It lacks the heat Indian curry has. It’s NOT curry!
 
I’m getting sick and tired of the same monotonous taste of Chinese foods. At European cuisine evolved.

I guess there is more to what good food than dairy and spices. Perhaps I’m sick of the same food.

So… I was looking at desserts and all the best ones are European.

They think “White cuisine” is all white bread. It’s true that Chinese food is good. But every cuisine has their own merits. In different shapes and form. Although we all tend to be biased towards our own palates.

Not exactly an opinion, but I’ve never understood why people like to take potshots at New Jersey. Even people from New Jersey do it sometimes… And it was going on long before “Jersey Shore” was a thing, too…

you also find it an insult that it’s called a modern ‘spider-man and his amazing friends’ when most of the time he barely works with his team (mostly focusing on the guest heroes)?
 
the cap’s shield through the latverian embassy’s window is soooooo wrong. especially the follow up scene about cap telling spidey doom’s diplomatic immunity is revoked when he let missles lose on the streets of new york, considering cap’s shield went crashing through the embassy after all (hypocrisy at best)

I’m more pissed at how it replaced The Spectacular Spider-Man, which in true Greg Weisman fashion was unceremoniously cancelled after two seasons on a really bad cliffhanger due to circumstances completely beyond his control, and in true Weisman fashion he refuses to reveal anything about what he had planned for potential future seasons.
 
And frankly, everything about the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon is just… ugh. Drake Bell sucks, the so-called “humor” is lame, and whenever it tries to be serious it’s even lamer, and pretty much everyone is a humungous asshole.

Actually, even if it hadn’t basically been the replacement for Spectacular, I’d still probably think it sucks.
