Under my eye, from the stick. It used to be about the size of a dime.
 
 
My left hand is covered in scars. The surface used to be discolored from where most of the skin on the top was torn off during my wreck. I’ve been treating it for the past 3 years and the discoloration has faded. The main scar is a 2.5 inch long scar between the ring and middle where those two fingers were nearly separated. My hand went out the window when my car flipped, and it was crushed under the roof. Lucky for me it was in dirt.

I see them a lot, they’re all over VA. They’re small fries. Brown Recluses, now those will fuck you up. Their venom causes rapid necrosis of soft tissue stopped only by removal of the surrounding tissue.

Sometimes, when I listen to music, I start to think. Not “shower-thoughts” think, but existential shit.  
What’s going to happen to me in ~10 years? Will I be successful? A failure? Will I be dead?  
With that, it immediately turns to questions like, “Will people remember me when I’m gone? Will anyone be at my side when I go? Will I be able to enjoy life?”
 
I don’t want to die.
