There is a lot of psych research that shows that late decisions are risk averse decisions. So those deciding near or on voting days are more likely to go for the safer option in their minds.

It’s funny, both sides say they want to bring the country back together, but don’t act like it. Since you need to win your party first, and the parties seem to be moving farther away from each other, you get candidates who don’t want compromise because it will make them look bad. Luckily some still do.

How is this not all over national headlines?

Results are still coming in. Some are practically fully counted while most are around the 40-50% mark. So far Biden is the runaway victor taking 302 delegates while Bernie is second with 193.
 
This can change fast once California and Texas start counting but dang.
 
The unambiguously good news is that Bloomberg is floundering.

Speaking of the CDC. Looks like defunding and shutting them down entirely would have actually improved matters.  
They literally banned hospitals from testing people over petty jurisdiction claims, so we got a huge outbreak in Washington before anyone noticed.  
At least they and the WHO are at the forefront of preventing “stigma”, if not illness.

California is finally announcing some of their results. At only 7% Bernie has a noticeable lead. Texas has almost half of their votes in, but Bernie and Biden are neck and neck.
 
Bernie needs a slam dunk in both states, otherwise Biden will be the winner of Super Tuesday.
